Original Production Cell from A Flintstone Christmas Carol for Hanna-Barbera Animation Art.
Actually used in the production of A Flintstone Christmas Carol directed by Joanna Romersa, this cel set-up was created by transferring the animator's original drawing onto acetate using a Xerography process. Each cel was then hand-painted on the reverse side before being photographed, in sequence, against an artist's background painting to create the animation process.
The background accompanying this cel set-up is a Giclee print created directly from the artist's original painting. This made-for-TV special made its debut on November 22, 1994.
This A Flintstone Christmas Carol Original Production Cel is hand-signed by the creators of the Flintstones, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. In addition, each A Flintsone Christmas Carol Original Production Cel carries the Hanna-Barbera Seal of Authenticity - containing a fragment of Joseph Barbera's DNA - as your guarantee of the quality and validity of the artwork.
